Bryan Agee Hiatt

Mr. Bryan Agee Hiatt, age 67 of Tobaccoville, NC, passed away at his home on Wednesday January 29, 2025. He was born February 8, 1957, in Surry County to Vestal Agee Hiatt and Wilma Lee Jarrell Hiatt. He was a graduate of North Forsyth High School in 1975 and received his master’s degree from Western Carolina University. Bryan loved his dogs, reading books, playing chess and tennis, and going on hikes with his many dogs. Mr. Hiatt is survived by his son, Samuel Jordan Hiatt; parents, Agee and Wilma Hiatt; brothers, Barry Todd Hiatt and wife Edwina, and Lee Hiatt; several nephews; and many other family and friends. Mr. Hiatt was preceded in death by his sister, Amber Dawn Hiatt Ward; maternal grandparents, Arthur and Zona Jarrell; and his paternal grandparents, Vestal and Blanche Hiatt. Graveside services will be held Monday, February 3, 2025 at 2:00pm at Skyline Memory Gardens with Tony Williams officiating. Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to the Forsyth County Animal Shelter, 5570 Sturmer Park Circle, Winston-Salem, NC 27105. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
