Bud Creed

Mr. Robert Franklin “Bud” Creed, 68, of Mount Airy, passed away on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at Northern Regional Hospital in Mount Airy, NC.  He was born in Surry County to Gladys Whitaker Creed and the late Robert Lee Creed.  Bud promised his daughter the he would finish his Master’s Degree from the University of South Carolina, and after her passing he did just that.  Bud was retired from CVS Pharmacy as a personnel asst. manager.  Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Gladys Whitaker Creed; his brother, Mike and a very special sister-in-law Jennifer Creed; niece, Brandy Creed and husband Joey Parrish, a nephew, Daniel Creed; two great-nephews, Jeremiah Parrish and Levi Creed; and other special nieces and nephews.  In addition to his father, Bud was preceded in death by his wife, Vicki Coe Creed; his daughter, Jennifer Black; and an infant son.  There will be a Celebration of Bud’s Life on Sunday May 30, 2021 at 9:00 AM at Mount Airy Wesleyan Church.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Bud’s name to Mount Airy Wesleyan Church.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the Creed family.
