Calvin Wayne Griffith

       Mr. Calvin Wayne Griffith, age 76 of Ararat, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2020 at his home.  He was born in Virginia on May 1, 1943 to the late Denzer James Griffith and Georgia Mae Underwood Griffith.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Irene Cockram, Barbara Vipperman; one brother, James Denzer Griffith; one niece, Jennifer Overby; and two nephews, Michael Griffith and Paul Vipperman.  He had served in the U.S. Army.

        Surviving are two children, Richard Griffith, Julie Griffith; one sister, Linda Martin and husband, Leon; five brothers, Harley Junior Griffith, James Howard Griffith, Walter Raymond Griffith, David Lee Griffith, Kenneth Lewis Griffith; several nieces and nephews; and his two little dogs, Muskrat and Theodore.
