Calvin Carl Love

Mr. Calvin Carl Love, 66, of Pilot Mountain, passed away early Tuesday morning, August 28, 2018, at his home.  Mr. Love was born November 14, 1951, in Patrick County, VA, one of seven children born to the late Carl Willie and Mary Lee Hill Love.  Calvin served our country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.  He proudly owned and operated Love Enterprises for 35 years and was a member of Brown Mountain Baptist Church.  He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Beverly Nunn Love of the home; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Brenda and Jim Blevins of Ennice and Yvonne Love of Pilot Mountain; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles and Tiffany Love of Rocky Mount, Lacy and Donna Love of Raleigh, and Mark and Vicki Love and Richard and Robin Love, all of Pilot Mountain; several nieces and nephews; and many aunts, uncles, and other relatives.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Love was preceded in death by a nephew, Jason Blevins.  A memorial visitation will be held Sunday, September 2, 2018, from 2:00 until 4:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.  No formal memorial service will be held at this time; however, a celebration of life service will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care, 401 Technology Lane, Suite 200, Mount Airy, NC  27030.
