Mr. Cameron Lee Funkhouser, 28, of Siloam passed away on Friday, May 20, 2022, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in Winston-Salem. Cameron was born on December 7, 1993, in Surry County to Kevin Funkhouser and Bobby Jo Bradford Caudill. Cameron was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend. His memories are carried on through his wife, Tyler Anne Funkhouser; two daughters, Peyton Olivia Funkhouser and Amelia Leigh Funkhouser; one son, Zachary Allen-Lee Funkhouser; sisters, Ashleigh Funkhouser, Haleigh Minton Carter and Morgan Bree Caudill; brothers, Micah Jarrett Caudill and Braxton Funkhouser; mother and stepfather, Rick and Bobby Jo Caudill; father and stepmother, Kevin and Tammy Funkhouser; maternal grandmother, Emilia Bradford; paternal grandmother, Debra Stout; grandfather, Gary and Vicki Funkhouser; many uncles and aunts; and three nieces and one nephew. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Floyd Bradford; and one nephew, Coltenn Carter. Cameron was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and a pillar of the motorcycle community. He selflessly spent lots of time organizing benefit and memorial rides. Cameron was a guiding light for many people through his faith. A hard-working man that valued his customers, community and, most of all, his family. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy with Pastor David Coleman and Pastor Stephen Shutt officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Hill Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 28, 2022, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM.
