Carl Caviness

Mr. Carl Kenneth Caviness, 90, of Mt. Airy, passed away at Northern Hospital of Surry County, Friday, February 19, 2021.  He was born in Pulaski County, July 8, 1930 to the late Walter Lee and Mary Edith Via Caviness.  Mr. Caviness is survived by his wife Johnnie Mae Inman Caviness; a daughter and son-in-law, Terri and Jimmy Grimes; a son Kenny Caviness; grandchildren, Sherri Grimes, and Justin Grimes; and brothers and a sister-in-law, Wesley and Jamie Caviness, and Ronald Caviness.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Caviness was preceded in death by brothers, Doug, and Tommy Caviness.  A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Sunday, February 28, 2021 at the Kirkman Family Cemetery with Rev.
