Carlos Junior Taylor

Mr. Carlos Junior Taylor, age 70, of Stuart passed away Friday, April 27, 2018 at his home.  He was born in Patrick County on July 20, 1947.  He was preceded in death by his father, Carlos Taylor.  Mr. Taylor had 21 years of service in the US Army and attained the rank of Staff Sergeant.   He had retired from Clark Gas and Oil and was a member of Stuart Baptist Church.  Junior will always be remembered for his infectious laugh.  He was always happy and had a smile on his face. 

            Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Carol Lyon Taylor of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Susan Taylor of Stuart; two grandchildren, Faith Taylor, Christian Taylor; his mother, Mozelle Rogers Taylor of Stuart; a sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Gary Sheppard of Stuart; and many other friends and family members.

            Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastors Robert Belcher and Wayne Moore officiating.  Burial will follow in the Peters Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with military rites by the Patrick County Veterans Memorial Honor Guard.  The family will receive friends Monday night from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be sent to www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
