Carol Johnston Hollingsworth

Ms. Carol Frances Johnston Hollingsworth, age 82 of Mount Airy, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at Twelve Oaks Retirement Home in Mount Airy.  Ms. Hollingsworth was born on June 2, 1941, in Surry     County to the late Thomas Johnston and Della Johnson Johnston.  Carol was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. Surviving are her sons, Chris Hollingsworth, and Clark Hollingsworth, grandson, Austin Hollingsworth.       In addition to her parents, Ms. Hollingsworth was preceded in death by her daughter, Carrie Pendleton Hollingsworth and brother Dennis Johnston and the father of her children, John “ Penny” Hollingsworth.

No formal services will be held at this time.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy has been entrusted with the arrangements.
