Carol Faye Jessup

Mrs. Carol Faye Tilley Jessup, 74, of Westfield, passed away Friday night, November 9, 2018, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.  Mrs. Jessup was born March 5, 1944, in Stokes County, one of three daughters born to the late Johnny Clarence and Maggie Allene Slate Tilley.  Carol was a homemaker and a member of Asbury Presbyterian Church.  She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Beauford Leo Jessup of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Tanya and Daniel Holt of Mount Airy; a son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Staci Jessup of Pilot Mountain; a granddaughter, Alyssa Jessup of Pilot Mountain; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Peggy and Scotty Lawson of Pilot Mountain and Janet Berrier and Roger of Clemmons; several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Kathleen Frye, Junior and Leota Jessup, and Lester and Shirley Jessup, all of Mount Airy, Lonnie and Judy Jessup of Pilot Mountain, and Kenneth and Brenda Jessup of Clemmons; and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jessup was preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Adam and Martha Anderson Jessup; and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Boyd and Barbara Jessup, Wayne and Inez Jessup, Clarence and Eugenia Jessup, Lucy and Boyce Rogers, and Grady Frye.  The funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at 2:00 PM at Asbury Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Terry Collins and the Rev. Grant Atkins officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall immediately following the service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Road, Dobson, NC  27017; the Francisco Rescue Squad, 7104 NC 89 West, Westfield, NC  27053; or the Asbury Presbyterian Church Cemetery Fund, P.O.
