Carol Sue Collins Jessup

Mrs. Carol Sue Collins Jessup, age 77, of Mt. Airy, passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2024 at Central Continuing Care in Mt. Airy. She was born on December 14, 1946 in Surry County to the late James and Allene Wilson Collins. Mrs. Collins worked for several years for C and J Produce as well as J.P. Stevens. Left to cherish her memory are her sister, Janie Tilley (Sam); niece, Beverly Barr (Mark); nephew, Gary Martin. In addition to her parents Mrs. Jessup was preceded in death by a sister, Dianne Martin, and a nephew Robbie Martin. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Westfield Baptist Church with services conducted by Rev. Blake Bowman. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until the time for the service at the church.
