Carolyn Collins

Mrs. Carolyn Lucille Martin Collins, 85, of Mt. Airy passed away Saturday, June 5, 2021, at Surry Community Health and Rehab in Mt. Airy.  She was born in Surry County on November 24, 1935 to the late Elisha and Emma Pell Martin.  Mrs. Collins retired from Walmart, and a member of Woodville Baptist Church.  She is survived by a daughter, Mitzi Collins; brothers and sister-in-law, Gary and Pat Martin, Mike Martin, Kenneth Martin; numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Collins was preceded by sisters, Jessie Melton, Grace Martin, Aileen Martin; brothers, George Martin, and Elisha Martin.  A graveside service will be held Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Woodville Baptist Church with the Rev. Kevin Kelby officiating.  There will not be a formal visitation at the funeral home.  Moody Funeral Home in Mt.
