Carolyn Faye Pruitt

Ms. Carolyn Faye Pruitt our special sister, aunt and friend was received into the arms of the Lord on Tuesday July 25, 2006. She was very special and loved by all that knew her and she will be sorely missed. Ms. Pruitt was born April 4, 1955 in Forsyth County to the late Fannie Mae Goins Noel, she was a homemaker and was of the Baptist Faith. Surviving are two sisters Juanita Pruitt Bedsaul of Ararat, NC. and Linda Pruitt Childress of Mt. Airy, two brothers James Carl Dean Pruitt of Mt. Airy and Glenn Ray Pruitt of Hillsville, four special nephews Gary Pruitt of Cana, Timmy Pruitt, Kenneth Lee Pruitt and Ricky Pruitt all of Mt. Airy, several other nieces and nephews and a special friend Wanda Pruitt of Cana. In addition to her mother Ms. Pruitt was preceded in death by two brothers Kenneth Lee Pruitt, Sr. and Johnny Lee "Sam" Pruitt. Funeral services will be held Thursday July 27, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. at the Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Airy with services conducted by the Rev. Donald Bryant with burial to follow in the Mount Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday night from 7 to 9 P.M at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy, NC.
