Carolyn Diane Willard

Mrs. Carolyn Diane Pilgrim Willard, age 67, of Mt. airy, passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at her home.  She was born in Surry County on June 29, 1953 to the late Amos and Media Cockerham Pilgrim.  She was a loving mother and grandmother who will surely be missed by all who knew her.  Left to cherish her memories are a daughter, Angela Willard; son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Kristy Baker; grandchildren, Makayla Baker, Mackenzie Baker, Tyler Bounds, Jesse Bounds and wife Alexis, Austin Baker and Alex Baker.  In addition to her parents Mrs. Willard was preceded in death by her sisters, Barbara Hawks, Frances Gammons and Judy Holt, and her brothers Paul, Amos and Bill Pilgrim.  A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Airy with services conducted by Rev. Arlis Thomas.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until time for the service at the funeral home.
