Catherine Faye Easter Hill

Ms. Catherine Faye Easter Hill, age 84, of Mt. Airy, NC passed away at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, in Dobson, NC.  She was born in Surry County on February 23, 1938, to the late James William Easter and the late Celia Ann Hawks Easter.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Allen Hill; grandson, Andy Hill; sisters, Ester Davis, Laura Easter, brothers, Bill Easter, Ronald Easter, Ralph Easter.  She was a self-employed seamstress, a member of Blues Grove Baptist Church.  Surviving is her daughters-and son-in-law, Cindy Bowman Hill, Dena Hill-Cairnes and Dewayne Cairnes; sons and daughters-in-law, David Hill and Ann Hill, Terry Hill, Joe and Amy Hill; grandchildren, Cody Bowman, Jenna Arrowwood, Ted Bowman, Vance Cairnes, Gavin Stark, Wade Cairnes, Ethan Cairnes, Chrissy Beasley, David Owen-Hill, Amanda Bernhardt, James Hill, Justin Hill, Kaiser Hill; several great-grandchildren; brother Jim Easter.  Funeral service will be held 12:00 Noon Friday, March 18, 2022, in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home, with a private burial to follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.  Rev. Travis Sechrist will officiate the service.  The family will receive friends at Moody-Davis Funeral Home on Friday morning from 11:00 AM until the time of her service at 12:00 Noon.  Moody-Davis Funeral Home is serving the Hill family
