Charles Allen Greenwood

Mr. Charles Allen Greenwood, 70, of Mt. Airy passed away Saturday, October 21, 2023, at Surry Community Health and Rehab in Mt. Airy.  He was born in Surry County on June 1, 1953, to the late Roy Hardin and Mary Monday Greenwood.  Mr. Greenwood Retired from Nesters Hosiery, and a member of Fancy Gap Baptist Church.  He is survived by his wife, Sharon Lynn Adams Greenwood; a brother, Danny Greenwood; a nephew, Timothy Greenwood; a great niece, Keely Greenwood.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Greenwood was preceded in death by his son, Charles Brian Greenwood; a sister and brother-in-law, Robert and Joyce Perry; a sister-in-law, Ann Greenwood.  A memorial service will be held at Fancy Gap Baptist Church at a later date with the Rev.
