Charles "Chuck" Gary Key

Mr. Charles Gary “Chuck” Key, age 64, of Mt. Airy, passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2018, at his home.  Mr. Key was born in Yadkin County on June 25, 1954, to Charlie and Sally Bryant Key.  After his retirement he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.  Surviving is his wife, Donna Chilton Key; a daughter and son-in-law, Misty and Aron Burdo; grandchildren, Kenyon Key and Kalia Burdo; a sister, Margaret Key;  sisters-in law and brothers-in-law, Gerald and Teresa Plaster, Leon and Gail Jessup, Wayne and Dorothy Chilton; several special cousins.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Key was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Sherry Massie.  A memorial service will be held Sunday, December 9, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Southside Baptist Church with the Rev. Miles Bryant and Rev. Timothy Hall officiating.  The family will receive friends Sunday 1:00 until 2:00 PM at the church.
