Charles David Driggers

Mr. Charles David Driggers Age 62 of 188 Locklear St. Mt. Airy, NC. husband of Mrs. Marilyn Wood Driggers passed away October 19, 2006 at his home. Mr. Driggers was born October 21, 1954 in Lake City, SC., to the late Hagood Silas and Nellie McAllister Driggers, he was a retired Paint Contractor and was a member of Central United Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife Mrs. Marilyn Wood Driggers of the home, One son and daughter-in-law Christopher Ashley and Cathi Driggers of Mt. Airy, three grandchildren Marc Thomas Driggers, Naomi Alisse Driggers and Carson David Driggers all of Mt. Airy, one sister Bebee Driggers Daniel of Lake City, SC., one brother Howard Thomas Driggers of Lake City, SC., and several special nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Mr. Driggers was preceded in death by two brothers Hagood Silas "Shorty" Driggers, Jr. and Donnie Oneil Driggers. A memorial service will be held at the Central United Methodist Church Sunday October 22, 2006 at 4;00P.M. with services conducted by Rev. John Ferree. The family will receive friends at the church from 2:00 P.M. until time for the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice and Central Unite Methodist Church.
