Charles Bryant Fain

Mr. Charles Bryant Fain, age 79, of Stuart, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Northern Hospital of Surry County.  He was born in Patrick County on Feb. 1, 1939 to the late Cabell Fain and Elva Vipperman Fain.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Darryl Fain; a great granddaughter, Rachel Eden Morrison; four sisters, Opal Martin, Katherine Lovell, Maxine Storey, Betty Garrett; and one brother, Jimmy Fain.  Charles was the owner/operator of Fain Printing and Office Supply for over 45 years; and was a member of Bouldin Memorial Presbyterian Church.

          Surviving are his wife, Barbara Plaster Fain of the home; one daughter, Elva Caldwell of Winston-Salem, NC; two step-daughters, Sherry Kendrick, Kim Helms; one step-son, Keith Benfield all of Patrick Springs; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and step grandchildren; one brother, Howard Fain of Spencer; and numerous nieces and nephews.

          A graveside service will be held Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Bouldin Memorial Presbyterian Church with Pastors Ricky Rogers and Bill Rountree officiating.  There will be no formal visitation.  Moody Funeral Home in Stuart is handling the arrangements.  Online condolences may be sent to www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
