Charles Randall Hodges

Mr. Charles Randall Hodges age 44 of Brave Heart Ln, Thurmond, NC passed away at his home. He was born April 6, 1962 in Forsyth County, NC to Zula Hodges Goins. He was a machine fixer and employed as a truck driver at Ararat Rock. Surviving are his daughter, Alyssa Flannagan; mother Zula H. Goins, Mt. Airy, NC, a sister and brother-in-law, Dena Louise and Dwight Brintle, White Plains, NC, two brothers and a sister-in-law, Anthony Darrell Nelson, Petersburg, VA, Johnny Wade and Deidre Nelson, Mt. Airy, NC, grandmother, Bertha Hodges, Mt. Airy, NC; nieces and nephews, Justin Brintle, Chelsey Renee Brintle, Catherine Nicole Nelson, Justin Potts and Jason Potts. Mr. Hodges was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jahue "Tobe" Hodges. A graveside service will be held Saturday at 2:00 PM at Zion Primitive Baptist Church near Sparta. The family will receive friends in the church immediately following the service and at other times at the home of his grandmother, Bertha Hodges, 147 Galyean Rd, Mt. Airy. Moody Funeral Home in Mt.
