Charles Steven Koves

Mr. Charles Steven Koves, 65, devoted husband of Rose Marie Hudak-Koves of Dobson, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday January 25, 2007. He was born in Lorain County, Ohio on December 8, 1941 to the late Joseph and Irene Kowalek-Koves and was a member of Divine Redeemer Catholic Church of Boonville. Mr. Koves was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was a self employed Property Manager. He received his Bachelors Degree from Central Michigan University and was a loving, devoted husband, father and grandfather. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife Rose Marie Hudak Koves of the home; a daughter and son-in law, Michelle and David Souther of Wilmington, NC; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Ken Koves of Wilmington, NC and Tim and Kelli Koves of Raleigh, NC; two grandchildren, Ryan and Grace Koves of Raleigh, NC; a special friend Wayne Peele. In addition to his parents, Mr. Koves was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Koves. A Rosary Service will begin at 6 PM Sunday for family and friends at Moody-Davis Funeral Home of Dobson. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM Monday at Devine Redeemer Catholic Church in Boonville with Father Christopher Davis and Father Michael Huszti officiating.
