Charles Wayne Pike

Mr. Charles "Wayne" Pike, a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, and friend to all, age 65 of 202 Holly Hill Dr. Mt. Airy passed away Wednesday June 12, 2013 at the Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. Mr. Pike was born February 26, 1948 in Patrick County, VA. to the late Joseph Daniel and Mary Lou Lovill Pike, he was the owner and operator of A Plus Auto Sales and was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are his wife Bridgett Irene McKeithan Pike of the home, two sons and daughters-in-law Jason and Jennifer Pike and Daniel and Courtney Pike all of Mt. Airy, one adored grandchild Taylor Pike of Mt. Airy and by one brother Grady Pike of Mt. Airy. In addition to his parents, Mr. Pike was preceded in death by four sisters Frances Pike, Dot Simmons, Vannie Pike, and Mae Marshall and by five brothers Robert Pike, Roger Pike, Stuart Pike, John Pike and Warren Pike. Funeral services will be held Friday June 14, 2013 at 12:00 P.M. at Flat Rock Baptist Church with services conducted by Dr. Jon Cawley with burial to follow in the Midkiff Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday night June 13, 2013 from 6 to 9 P.M. at the Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy, NC. The Pike family would like to extend a special gratitude to all of the staff at the Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home.
