Charles Franklin “Frank” Sprinkle, a beloved farmer and cherished member of the Dobson community, has passed away at the age of 85. He was born on September 18, 1937, in Surry County, NC. He peacefully departed this life on July 2, 2023, at Central Continuing Care.

Throughout his life, Frank dedicated himself to his work as a farmer.
Beyond his profession, Frank was known for his kind and loving personality
When not working on the farm, Frank enjoyed pursuing his hobbies and interests. He had a love for hunting and fishing. Additionally, he had an avid interest in NASCAR racing.

 He was a lifelong member of Crossroads Missionary Baptist Church and served as a devoted deacon for over 50 years. Alongside his dedication to the church, Frank was also a member of Gideon's International, an organization committed to spreading the Gospel through distributing Bibles worldwide.

Beloved husband of 61 years to Kathlene Brindle Sprinkle, he leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion. He will be deeply missed by his surviving family and friends, including his daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa and Buddy Sizemore, Susan and Tony Tolley, and son and daughter-in-law, Don and Amy Sprinkle. His memory will be forever cherished by his grandchildren: David Sizemore, Sasha Sprinkle and Justin McCraw, Whitney and Brandon Collins, Morgan Tolley and Andy Spicer(and his children, Keira and Kyler), Cameron Tolley, Vaughn Wright ,Elizabeth Wright, Dylan Sawyers, as well as great-grandchildren Westyn McCraw, Carter Collins, Caden Collins, Madyson Collins, Jaelynn Wright, Landon Wright, and Lawson McCraw: and companion and fiancé, Georgia Wood.

Mr. Sprinkle is survived by his siblings Lucille Riggans, Doris Pratt, Iris Apt, Jackie Collins, Ronnie Sprinkle. He is also reunited in heaven with his late father, Culbert Sprinkle, mother, Mary Magdeline Callahan Sprinkle, sister, Leila Mayes, sister Linda Simpson, brother Bill Sprinkle, brother Craig Sprinkle.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 5th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Moody Funeral Service in Dobson. A funeral service will be held Thursday, July 6th at 11:00 AM at Crossroads Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Wall, Rev. Josh Woodring, Rev. Alton Bledsoe, and Rev. Buddy Sizemore officiating. Mr. Sprinkle will lie in state for 30 minutes prior to the funeral. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Crossroads Missionary Baptist Church, 1029 Crossroads Church Road, Dobson NC 27017, or to The Gideons International, The Dobson Camp, PO Box 791, Dobson NC 27017. Moody-Davis Funeral Service is serving the Sprinkle family.
