Charlie Cisrow Hardy

Mr. Charlie Cisrow Hardy, age 95 of Golden Living formerly of Copeland passed away on Saturday December 29, 2007. He was born in Surry County on May 7, 1912 to the late Charlie Mark Hardy and the late Rose Brown Hardy. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Stella Bullin Hardy, one daughter Ruby Lee Kidd; one son James Melvin Hardy; three sisters and two brothers. He was a member of Fairview Church of Christ and was a retired custodian from Copeland School. Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law Pat and Mack Snow of Dobson; one son Donnie Hardy of Dobson; thirteen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren; a half sister Nancy Davis of Dobson; two half brothers Dewey Hardy of Dobson and Charlie Hardy of Siloam; special friends Wade and Sue Chandler of Mt. Airy. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday January 1, 2008 in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson with burial to follow in the Level Cross United Methodist Church Cemetery. Bro. Bodie Wingler and Bro. Leonard Simpson will officiate the services. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6 until 8 P.M. at Moody Davis Funeral Home, and at other times the home of his Daughter Pat Snow on 7096 Hwy 601 Dobson, NC 27017
