Chassie Lee Pell

Mrs. Chassie Lee Owens Pell, age 93, of Pilot Mountain, went to be with her Lord, Wednesday, June 6, 2018.  Mrs. Pell was born in Stokes County on September 30, 1924, to Isom and Lillian Cook Owens.  She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be sorely missed.  Among the many who will always cherish her memory are her sons, James Tandy Pell, Jr. and wife Kay, Michael Owens Pell, and Rick Lynn Pell; grandchildren, Richard Tandy Pell and wife Karen, Jason Pell and wife Elizabeth, Robbie Eads and wife Charity and Will Eads and wife Lisa; her precious great grandchildren, Emma, Taylor, Thomas, Kay Marie, and Aydan; and her sisters, Nelda Goad, and Rebecca Snow; special caregivers, Susan Tilley and Sabrina McKeithen.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Pell was preceded in death by her husband, James Tandy (JT) Pell; her brother, Homer Owens and her brothers-in-law, Charles Goad and Frank Snow.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, June 10, 2018 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Linda Anderson, Rev. Charles E. Goad, Jr. and Rev. Will Eads.  Burial will follow in Westfield Friends Meeting Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. The family would like to express a special thanks to special caregivers, Susan Tilley and Sabrina McKeithen.
