Cheyanne and Abbagail Cain

Cheyanne Patricia Cain, 8, and Abbagail Marie Cain, 4, of 187 Cedar Lake Trail, Mount Airy, entered into the loving hands of God on Wednesday evening, November 21, 2007. Cheyanne was born March 27, 1999, and Abbagail was born February 24, 2003, in Forsyth County, to Michael Wayne and Melinda Gail Hayes Cain. Cheyanne was a third grade student at Cedar Ridge Elementary School in Lowgap. Although Abbagail was not school age, she spent her days with her maternal grandparents while her mommy and daddy worked. They were inseparable most of the time and often referred to as precious angels. They enjoyed playing each day as well as spending time with their family and friends. Cheyanne and Abbagail were always eager to attend Pine Ridge Baptist Church on Sunday mornings, and they were truly "wild" about Sunday school. In addition to their parents, the girls are survived by their maternal grandparents, David and Judy Key Hayes of Siloam; paternal grandparents, Roy and Barbara O'Neal Cain of Mount Airy; paternal great-grandmother, Dicie Ring O'Neal of Mount Airy; two aunts, Susan Hayes France of Mount Airy and Mary Cain Branch of Dobson; and a special cousin, Mason Ford McMillian. Cheyanne and Abbagail were preceded in death by their maternal great-grandparents, Barley and Mattie Key and Paul and Ethel Hayes; and paternal great-grandparents, Chester O'Neal and Eli and Sue Cain. A service of remembrance will be held Sunday, November 25, 2007, at 2:00 PM at Pine Ridge Baptist Church. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Johnny Johnson, the Rev. Randy Edwards, and the Rev. Bill Spurlin. Burial will follow in the Pine Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy, and other times at the home of Roy and Barbara Cain, 183 Wayne Street, Mount Airy.
