Christie Dawn Bledsoe

Ms. Christie Dawn Bledsoe, 47, of Dobson, North Carolina, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2025. Born September 11, 1977, to the late Earl Marion Bledsoe, and Joan Miller Bledsoe. Christie was a faithful Christian and had an unwavering love for God. She was a true friend, and made friends around every corner, she never met a stranger. She loved her family and spending time with her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed sports, and was an avid fan of football and racing. Along with her mother, she is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth “Beth” Flinchum and Michael; nieces and nephews, Blake Flinchum and Hope, Faith Flinchum, Johnathon Flinchum, and Lorick Flinchum. Along with her father, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Charlie and Mary Miller; paternal grandmother, Ola Bledsoe; as well as significant other, Eddie Johnson. A funeral service will be at 1:00 PM Monday, January 27, 2025, at New Home Church of Christ. The family will receive friends from 11:30 until 1:00 PM, Monday at the church. In lieu of flowers, monetary contributions may be made to Joan Bledsoe to assist in the expenses associated with Ms. Bledsoe’s passing.
