Christine Thomas Bingman

Mrs. Christine Thomas Bingman, age 75 of Mount Airy, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday evening March 30, 2025. Mrs. Bingman was born on August 23, 1949 in Wythe County, Virginia, to the late Robert and Lucille Scott Thomas. She was a loving mother, and grandmother who will surely be missed by all who knew her. Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Tracey Smith; her son Brackey Bingman (Angel Farris); and grandchildren, Ali Bingman and Landon Smith; she is also survived by all her loving brothers and sisters as well as a best friend, Judith Harris. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bingman was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Grover Benny Bingman. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Airy with service conducted by Rev. Richard Loman. Burial will follow in Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until time for the service at the funeral home.
