Christopher Sean Bowman

Mr. Christopher Sean Bowman, 25, of 247 Holly Avenue, Mount Airy, died Tuesday, October 14, 2008. Mr. Bowman was born April 7, 1983, in Fort Stewart, GA, to Sharon Widener and Thomas Joseph Bowman. Sean was employed at Wal-Mart and was a student at Surry Community College. He attended Mount Ararat Pentecostal Holiness Church in Ararat, VA. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Sharon and Dennis Widener of Mount Airy; his father and stepmother, Thomas Joseph and Sheri Bowman of Rural Hall; a son, Camden Noah of Mount Airy; a half-brother, Ian Tyler Bowman of Rural Hall; and his grandmother, Hilda Houpe of Mount Airy. His body will lie-in-state on Monday, October 20, 2008, at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, October 21, 2008, at 2:00 PM at Skyline Memory Gardens, with the Rev. Rickey Rogers officiating.
