Mr. Christopher Jose Eleva, age 25, of Mt. Airy, passed away unexpectedly on July 18, 2021. He was born in Surry County on December 12, 1995, to Jose Eleva and Jessica Hakemeier. Christopher has touched many lives, he was an amazing son and the true meaning of a friend. He always helped out when someone was in need and an advocate for others. He was very outgoing, and lived life to the fullest, very loyal and comical, and an animal lover. Left to cherish his memories are his siblings, Joshua Eleva, Daniel Soriano, Haleigh Hakemeier, Kayla Hughes, Genivee Music, Samantha Eleva; father and step-mother, Jose and Amber Eleva, mother Jessica Hakemeier and fiancé Christopher Music; maternal grandmother, Brenda Major, as well as many aunts. uncles cousins and friends. Mr. Eleva was preceded in death by grandfathers, Michael Lee Major, and David Neal Hakemeier and a paternal grandmother, Pabla Garza. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 24, 2021, from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy.
