Cindy Lou Conklin

Miss Cindy Lou Conklin, 49, of Cana, passed away at her home, Sunday, November 27, 2021. She was born in Morristown, NJ, December 28, 1971, to the late Mayron C. Smith and Laura Mae Ader Smith. Cindy was a loving sister, aunt, and friend. She loved her animals and adored her nieces and nephews. Cindy will be lovingly remembered by her longtime boyfriend Perry Kirk; sister Debra Counterman; her brother Mitch Conklin; numerous special nieces and nephews; and many friends. In addition to her parents, Cindy was preceded in death by her brother Eugene Conklin, Jr.. A memorial service will be held at New Bethel Baptist Church, December 6, 2021, at 3:00 pm with Rev. Jimmy McCraw officiating. The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the service. The family would like to express their deepest appreciation to the staff of the Mt.
