Clara Una Hall Creed

Mrs. Clara Una Hall Creed, 94, of 975 Miller Road, Mount Airy, passed away Thursday, January 24, 2008, at her home. Mrs. Creed was born March 18, 1913, in Patrick County, VA, to the late Louis Napoleon and Jennie Lewis Hall. She was a homemaker and a member of Zion United Methodist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Peggy Shouse of Baltimore, MD, and Cheryl Talarico of Mount Airy; a son and daughter-in-law, Ted and Cheri Creed of Quincy, IL; two grandchildren, Jennifer Talarico of Mount Airy and Michael Creed of Salem, MO; a stepgrandson, Todd Talarico of Cary; and several great-stepgrandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Creed was preceded in death by her husband, Ruben Martin Creed; and a grandson, Edward Shouse. The funeral service will be held Sunday, January 27, 2008, at 1:00 PM at Zion United Methodist Church. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Dorothy Sullivan and the Rev. Dennis W. "Bud" Cameron, and burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.
