Clara Frances White Hodges

Mrs. Clara Frances White Hodges, age 80, of Dobson, passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at the Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington NC. She was born March 28, 1943, in Surry County, to the late William Montgomery White and the late Elsie Hudspeth White. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dewey Lee Hodges; and siblings, Willie Winford White, Paul Franklin White, Ima Jean White Burton, Wade Junior White, Hazel White Fife, and Glenn Curtis White. 

            Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Melinda Gaye Hodges and spouse, Gloria Racey; son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Kathryn Hodges; grandchildren, Jessica and BJ Wright, Michael Hodges, Victoria and Luke Steiger, Seth and Paige Hodges, Grace Ramirez, Jack Hodges, Thomas Hodges, and Joshua Hodges; great grandchildren, Ada Grace Wright, Eli James Wright, Isla Lagertha Steiger, Cecilia Rose-Marie Ramirez; siblings, Beulah White Call, Eleanor White Gardner, and Valinda (Linda) White Mosley; brother-in-law, Arnold Fife; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Harley and Maxine Hodges.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 1, 2023 , from 12:30-1:30 PM, at Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Central View Baptist Church Cemetery, with Rev. Michael Gentry officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County,
