Clara Lucille Cain Davidson Nester

Mrs. Clara Lucille Cain Davidson Nester, age 80, widow of Mr. Garland D. Nester, of Mt. Airy, passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2007 at Central Continuing Care. Mrs. Nester was born in Carroll County, February 23, 1926 to Elmer Glen and Effie Belle Baker Cain. She was a loving mother whom we will miss dearly and was a member of Peoples Church of Holly Springs. Surviving are three sons and a daughters-in-law, Larry Jordan Davidson and Treva Wolfe of Salisbury; Darry Wayne Davidson and Michelle of Mocksville; Ronald and Sharon Nester of Mt. Airy six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Mae Cain of Galax; Dallas and Edith Cain of Hillsville; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Carol and Dallas Pruitt of Mt. Airy; and Florence Cain Lambert of Draper, VA. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, January 26, 2007 at Peoples Church of Holly Springs, conducted by Rev. Eugene Brinkley. Burial will follow in Unity Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday night from 7:00 to 9:00 at the church. Moody Funeral Home is serving the Nester family.
