Mr. Clarence Wade Golding, 53, of 130 York Thicket Road, Lambsburg, VA, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2011, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. He was born January 28, 1958, in Carroll County, VA, to Forest Bryant Golding and the late C.J. Golding. He was an employee of North Carolina Granite Corporation and attended Peace Haven Baptist Church in Yadkinville. Mr. Golding is survived by his wife, Rhonda Boyd Golding of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Christy and Brandon Durham of Mount Airy; a son and daughter-in-law, Chad and Whitney Golding of Mount Airy; three grandchildren, Harley Ayden Durham, Bryson Hunter Golding, and Bristol Haley Golding, all of Mount Airy; his mother, Forest Bryant Golding of Lambsburg, VA; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Phyllis Golding and Marie and L.J. Simmons, all of Mount Airy; and two brothers and a sister-in-law, Luther Golding of Lambsburg, VA, and Randy and Trudy Golding of Mount Airy. In addition to his father, Mr. Golding was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jack Creed, Grace Hawks Golding, and the Rev. Gilmer and Hazel Bryant. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 24, 2011, at 2:00 PM at Peace Haven Baptist Church in Yadkinville, with the Rev. John Bowman and the Rev. George Evans officiating. Burial will follow in the Chestnut Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Lambsburg, VA. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.
