Clarence Aubrey Holt

Mr. Clarence Aubrey Holt, age 83 of Westfield, passed away peacefully on Wednesday afternoon October 23, 2024, at SOVAH Hospital in Martinsville, VA. He was born September 1, 1941, in Patrick County to the late Ernest William Holt and Lucy Lois Wood Holt. Mr. Holt proudly served our country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Mr. Holt was a family man who loved pleasing his wife. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 30 years, Kathy Martin Holt; daughter, Laura Ann Sehen; brother and sisters-in-law, Guy and Essie Holt, and Frances Holt; many nieces and nephews; special friends. Clyde and Ruby Cole, and Rickey Rogers; and by several other family and friends. In addition to his parents, Mr. Holt was preceded in death by three brothers, William Cecil Holt, Glenn Davis Holt, and Billy Akers Holt. Graveside services will be held Sunday October 27, 2024, at 2:00pm in the Asbury Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Rev. Rickey Rogers and Rev. Terry Collins officiating. Mr. Holt’s family will receive friends Sunday in the church from 1:00 – 2:00pm. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
