Mr. Clarence Bill Inman, 82, of 2598 Westfield Road, Mount Airy, passed from this life on Wednesday, March 25, 2009, at Northern Hospital of Surry County. Mr. Inman was born May 12, 1926, and was one of eleven children born to the late Millard and Kizzy Haymore Inman. He retired as owner of Busy Bee on Westfield Road and was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 64 years, Myrtle Hiatt Inman of the home; and his children, Gary Dale Inman, S. Dwain Inman and wife, Stella, and Dana Inman Goins and husband, Bobby "Buck," all of Mount Airy, and Kevin Gray Inman and wife, Jennifer, of Hickory. To keep his memory alive are eleven grandchildren, Jayme Inman, Amanda Inman Pardue, David Inman, Brad Inman, Brandon Inman, Jody Inman, Allen Hudson, Frankie Goins, Kayla Goins, Olivia Inman, and Sophie Inman. He also has twelve great-grandchildren. Mr. Inman is also survived by three sisters, Aileen Inman Bingman, Nonnie Inman Arrington, and Kathleen Inman Davis, all of Mount Airy; and four brothers, Herman Inman, Clifford Inman, Roger Inman, and Codell Inman, all of Mount Airy. In addition to his parents, Mr. Inman was preceded in death by three brothers, Alvin Inman, Media Inman, and Vester Inman. The family will receive friends Thursday, March 26, 2009, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy. The funeral service will be held Friday, March 27, 2009, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with Bishop David P. Hiatt, Brian Johnson, and Charles Brown officiating. Entombment will follow in the Skyline Memory Gardens Mausoleum. Flowers will be accepted, or memorial contributions can be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
