Clarice Reynolds

Miss Clarice Eleanora Reynolds, age 87, who was a resident of the Blue Ridge Nursing Center in Stuart and formerly lived in Stuart, passed away Friday, August 25, 2006 at the nursing center. She was born in Patrick County on December 17, 1918 to the late Isaac Maury and Una Reynolds. In addition to her parents, Miss Reynolds was preceded in death by six brothers, Claude, Fred, Clyde, John, Kenneth and William Reynolds, and three sisters, Minnie Adams, Audrey Roberson and Beatrice Lumpkin. She graduated from Averett College in 1938 and had served in the United States Navy. Miss Reynolds is survived by a sister-in-law, June A. Reynolds of Stuart, and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service for Miss Reynolds will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at the Meadows of Dan Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jim Churchwell officiating.
