Claron Ray Hutchens

Mr. Claron Ray Hutchens, age 71 of Stuart, passed away Friday, January 14, 2022, at his home. He was born in Patrick County on September 1, 1950, to the late James Robert Hutchens and Pauline Smith Hutchens. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Shirl Hutchens; and a brother, Ricky Hutchens. Mr. Hutchens loved hunting and fishing and spending time with his family.

Surviving is his loving wife, Lola of the home; daughters and sons-in-law, Mandy and Matt Cox of Eden, NC, Anita and Wayne Scott of Stuart; sons and daughters-in-law, James and Kenna Hutchens of Ruffin, NC, Tony and Paula Stevens of Stuart; grandchildren, Mallory Hutchens and fiance, Matt, Matthew Shipwash, Nate Cox, Cody Stevens, Chris Mason and wife, Stephanie, Seth Scott, Justin Scott and wife, Lauren; great grandchildren, Sutton Scott, Maxi Mason, Ky Mason; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Connie and David Hawkins of Sandy Ridge, NC, Linda and Jody Davis of Stuart; special friends, Billy Shipwash, and Jerry Carmichael; and several special nieces and nephews.
