Clifford Ray Harshberger

Mr. Clifford Ray Harshberger, 82, of Mt. Airy passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at Central Continuing Care in Mt. Airy.  Mr. Harshberger was born in Johnson City, TN, on October 28, 1939, to the late Enoch Edward and Vergie Ilene McAbee Harshberger.  He retired from Essex Wire, and a member of Welcome Baptist Church.  Mr. Harshberger proudly served our country in the United States Army.  He is survived by sons, Dean Harshberger, and Randy Harshberger; a grandson, Randy Harshberger, Jr. and his wife Stacey; two great-granddaughters; sister, Ruth Whitaker; a brother, Paul Harshberger.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Harshberger was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Harshberger; a sister Marjorie Howell; a brother, Charles Harshberger.  A graveside service will be held Friday, October 7, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Brown Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Mosheim, TN with the Rev. Richard Long officiating and a military service at the cemetery.  Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home is assisting the family in Greenville.  There will not be a formal visitation at the funeral home.  Moody Funeral Services in Mt.
