Clinton Barnnet Hall

Mr. Clinton Barnnet Hall, 84, of Mount Airy, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020, at Transitions Hospice Home in Raleigh.  Mr. Hall was born July 26, 1936, in Ashe County, to the late William Bill and Mary Shepard Hall.  He retired from General Motors and was a member of Mount Airy Christian Church.  He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie Sue and Chris Thorpe; two grandchildren, Madison Jade Lee and Ethan Rylan Thorpe; two sisters, Lillie Mae Davis and Dorcas Wagoner; brothers and sisters-in-law, Talmadge “Buster” and Charlotte Hall, Delores Hall, and Shirley Hall; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hall was preceded in death by his wife, Opal Mae Chamberlain Hall; two sisters, Myrtle Hall and Lucille Blevins; and two brothers, Billy Dean Hall and Robert Hall.  The funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 22, 2020, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with the Rev. David Kern officiating.  A private burial will follow the service.  The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
