Clinton D. Martin

Mr. Clinton D. Martin, age 75, of Patrick Springs, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2018 at his home.  He was born in Patrick County on Nov. 28, 1942 to the late Randolph and Annie Martin.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Dent Martin; one daughter, Laurie Ann Reynolds; one son, James Robert “J.R.” Martin; a grandson, Adam Wayne Martin; and two brothers, Randolph “Tom” Martin and James “Roy” Martin.  Clinton had worked at Bassett Chair.

            Surviving are one daughter, Tracy Martin and fiancé, Billy Brooks of Patrick Springs; one son, Danny Wayne Martin of Bassett; seven grandchildren, David Martin, Ethan Brooks, Steven Brooks, Braiden Brooks, Bentley Brooks, Lydia Brooks, Jacob Martin; two sisters, Frances Hopkins of Bassett, Shirley Greer of Bassett; one brother, Paul Martin of Patrick Springs; and several nieces and nephews.

            Funeral services will be held Monday, July 16, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Rev. Rick Anderson officiating.  Burial will follow in the Martin Family Cemetery in Patrick Springs.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be sent to www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
