Colon Deward Jones Jr.

Mr. Colon Deward Jones, Jr., age 59, of Surry County, formally of Wake County, passed away Friday, November 1, 2024, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. Mr. Jones, Jr., was born February 23, 1965, to the late Colon Deward Jones, Sr. and Florene Murray Jones. He was a loving father, grandfather and friend, he’ll be greatly missed by all that knew him. He was an avid fisherman, especially King Mackerel, loved guns, and spending time with his family. Surviving Mr. Jones Jr., is daughters and son-in-law, Victoria Wolfman and Austin, Jessica Jones Burton; grandchildren, Amelia Hazelwood, Avery Wolfman; sister, Marshae Jones Williams; niece, Sydney Williams; nephew, Sullivan Williams. Per his request, there will be no formal visitation or services held at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, PO Box 325, Dobson, North Carolina 27017. Moody’s of Mount Airy is respectfully serving the Jones family.
