Connie Estelle Kidd Dellinger

Ms. Connie Estelle Kidd Dellinger, Age 90 of 328 Taylor St. Mt. Airy, NC., passed away Monday September 25, 2006 at her home. Ms. Dellinger was born June 25, 1916 in Surry County to the late Beo Sie Kidd and Lucy Marion Kidd, she was retired from Washington Mills Inc. in Dobson and was a member of Salem Baptist Church. Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law Lydia and Allan Dameron, of Holden Beach, one son Joseph Dellinger, of Mt. Airy, one grandchild Demian Dellinger, of Raleigh, One great grandchild Shauna-Madita Dellinger of Austria, and by two brothers Harvey Kidd and Ray Kidd both of Dobson. In addition to her parents, Ms. Dellinger was preceded in death by a sister Cassie Simpson and by four brothers Paul Kidd, Kelly Kidd, Gratsie Kidd and Wilford Kidd. Funeral services will be held Wednesday September 27, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Grace Moravian Church with services conducted by Rev. Tim Byerly with burial to follow in the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery in Dobson. The family will receive friends Tuesday night 7 to 9 P.M. at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy, NC.
