Constance Arlene Geigle Ammons

Mrs. Constance Arlene “Connie” Geigle Ammons, 86, of Mount Airy, passed away Sunday evening, January 23, 2022, at Northern Regional Hospital. Mrs. Ammons was born December 5, 1935, in Erie County, PA, the daughter of the late Gilbert “Barney” and Pearl Reed Geigle. Connie retired from Cross Creek Apparel after many years of service and was a charter member of Saint Andrew Lutheran Church. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ammons was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Paul Ammons; and a sister, Leona Geigle Aikens. No formal visitation or memorial service will be held at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Saint Andrew Lutheran Church, 1401 Fancy Gap Road, Mount Airy, NC 27030; or Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care, 401 Technology Lane, Suite 200, Mount Airy, NC 27030.
