Cora Belle Inman Needham

Mrs. Cora Belle Inman Needham, 99, of Pilot Mountain, passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2009, at Walnut Ridge Assisted Living Center. Mrs. Needham was born May 31, 1909, in Surry County, to the late John T. and Mickey Taylor Inman. She was a homemaker and a member of Sulphur Springs Baptist Church. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Curtis and Mary Henri Needham of Winston-Salem; twelve grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Needham was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Verlin Needham; four daughters, Christine Lapore, Carlyne Stallings, Carole Bray, and Connie East; and a son, Carl Needham. The funeral service will be held Friday, February 13, 2009, at 11:00 AM at Sulphur Springs Baptist Church, with Freddie Bullington, the Rev. Bob Thomas, and the Rev. Ron Chamblin, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
