Coy Glenn Kimble

Coy Kimble was born to Doris and Wavie Kimble on June 14, 1936.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Carl and Clifton.  He is survived by his wife for almost 65 years, Bonnie Sowers Kimble.  They had a fuss every day!!  He is also survived by his daughter and spouse, Tammie and Jim Leath; his son and spouse, Greg and Angie Kimble; one grandson, Tyler Kimble; and twin granddaughters, Teagan and Steven Young, and Tristyn Kimble; three step-granddaughters, Shelby and Anthony Sowers, Abi Lineberry, and Sherry and Jeff Wilson; two great-grandsons, Maddox and Grayson Kimble; one sister, Sylvia Agee; two sisters-in-law, Peggie Kimble, and Kathleen Melton; four nieces, Kathi, Freda, Anita, and Leigh-Ann, as well as one nephew, Mark.  Visitation will be Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy from 1:00 – 2:00pm.  Funeral to follow on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy at 2:00pm with Rev. Doug Goad officiating.  A private family burial will be held on Friday, February 18, 2022.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Rome Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 4406 Keno Road, Laurel Fork, VA 24352.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the Kimble family.  Online condolences may be made at www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
