Crystal Nicole Newsome

We lost our precious baby girl, Crystal Nicole Newsome age 21 of Mt. Airy July 22, 2008 to go home to be with the Lord. She was a graduate of North Surry High School and a waitress for Ruby Tuesday Restaurant in Mt. Airy. She is survived by her parents, Dina Louise Desilets Galicia and Ruben of the home; her father; Rickie Dean Newsome of TX; sister and nephew, Heather Michelle Newsome and Blayden Ray Newsome of NC; brother, Rickie Dean Newsome, Jr. of NC; a half sister, Rickie Noel Newsome of NC; grandfather, George Alfred Desilets of NV; aunts and uncles, Denise and Jeff Winburn of NV, Dawn D. Jordan, Wayne and Beth Newsome, Roy Newsome, Joanne Newsome, Judy and Randy all of NC, David Newsome of TX; many cousins and lots of loving friends. Miss Newsome was preceded in death by grandparents, Shirley Mae Desilets, Stella and Ollie Newsome, aunt, Susan Newsome and two cousins, Johnny Ray Newsome and Roy Newsome, Jr. A memorial service will be conducted Saturday at 4:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy by Rev. Larry Johnson. There will be no formal visitation but the family will receive friends at the home following the service at 1720 Pittman St, Mt. Airy. The family will accept flowers but request any memorials be made to Moody Funeral Services, Inc, PO Box 1288, Mt. Airy 27030 to assist with the funeral expenses.
