Curtis Eugene Easter

Mr. Curtis Eugene Easter, 78, of Lowgap, passed away Monday, October 21, 2019, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.  Mr. Easter was born July 13, 1941, in Surry County, the son of the late Kermit and Elizabeth Whitaker Easter.  Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Cathy McCraw Easter; a daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Joey Eaton; two stepsons, Chris Lowe and Wayne Lowe and his wife, Lisa; four grandchildren, Nathan Eaton, Zachary Eaton, Dakota Lowe, and Tyler Lowe; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Wayne and Helen Easter and Eldridge and Linda Easter.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Easter was preceded in death by two brothers, Warren Easter and Mike Easter.  A private graveside service will be held Wednesday, October 23, 2019, at 2:00 PM at Zion Hill Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, with Elder Arwood Edwards officiating.  No formal visitation will be held.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care, 401 Technology Lane, Suite 200, Mount Airy, NC  27030.
