Curtis Pack

       Mr. Curtis Pack, age 69 of Westfield, North Carolina passed away at Universal Healthcare in King, NC on Friday, October 5, 2018.  He was born in Stokes County to the late Lester Pack and Nannie Holt Pack.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Crissman Pack and a sister-in-law, Hattie Pack.

       Mr. Pack is survived by two children, Hilda Tate (Junior) of Mount Airy, NC, and Gary Pack (Julie) of Westfield, NC; five grandchildren, Tyler Tate, Hunter Tate, Greta Pack, Nathan Pack, and Dalton Pack; one great-granddaughter, Brynliegh Tate; five brothers, Robert Pack (Rosie) of Lawsonville, NC, Clyde Pack (Janie) of Westfield, NC, Akers Pack of Lawsonville, NC, Jesse Pack (Pearl) of Lawsonville, NC, Odell Pack (Patty) of Lawsonville, NC; one sister, Ruby Simmons (Ricky) of Danbury, NC and numerous nieces and nephews.

       A memorial celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at 5:00 p.m. at Dan River Baptist Church in Westfield, NC with Pastor Andy Pack officiating.  Burial will be private.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the church on Tuesday afternoon and other times at his home.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Walnut Cove Lions Club, 1115 Lions Park Drive, Walnut Cove, NC 27052, or Brenner’s Children Hospital (www.brennerchildrens.org) or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
