Curtis Evanda Reynolds

Mr. Curtis Evanda Reynolds age 77 of 115 Lori Lane, Mount Airy, husband of Magdalene Thomas Reynolds, passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2006 at Northern Hospital of Surry County. Mr. Reynolds was born in Lee County on March 25, 1929 son of the late Andrew Reynolds and Candice Reynolds Reynolds. He was retired from Blackburn's Coal Yard where he had been employed for over 40 years and attended Saint Andrew Lutheran Church. Surviving are his wife, Magdalene Thomas Reynolds of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Theodore Akers of Mount Airy; three sons and daughters-in-law, Tony and Sheila Reynolds of Mount Airy, Dennis and Vikki Reynolds of Rocky Mount and Richard and Sandra Reynolds, Sr. of White Plains; seven grandchildren, Richard Reynolds, Jr., Heather Reynolds, Joshua Reynolds, Danyelle Reynolds, Christopher Reynolds, Brittany Reynolds and Brandi Reynolds; five great-grandchildren, Austin Reynolds, Malori Reynolds, Cody Bowman, Shane Bowman and Jamie Bowman; five sisters, Nora Eaton, Virginia Martin and Mary Williams all of Mount Airy, Evelyn Moore of Hickory and Virgie Hiatt, Albermarle. In addition to his parents, Mr. Reynolds was preceded in death by two sisters, Bessie Reynolds and Elsie Reece. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, August 12, 2006 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel of Mt. Airy conducted by Rev. Todd Byrd and Rev. Dwight Sechrist. Burial will follow in Old Hollow Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7-9 PM Friday night at Moody Funeral Home.
